What to do, what to do

There are a few changes I think I might have to make to the blog, hopefully to make it much better.  Bear with me while I share some ideas with you.

I guess a lot of you have noticed that I have sort of been doing a weekly series on the cakes I have made.  I realized a few weeks ago that I will eventually run out of cakes I have made in the past, and since I only have time to make them right now for my girl's birthdays, I don't know how much longer the cake series will go continuously.  This means I have been trying to think of some other things that I do and have done that I can share.

Here are a few of my ideas, please let me know what you think.

I am tossing around the idea of doing book reviews on children and adult books that I have discovered.

I have made a lot of costumes and other items for my girl's.

I've always wanted to do more with photography and am always on the lookout on things to help me.  I was thinking of posting some of my attempts at improving my photography skills.  Perhaps in a 365 format, posted weekly or monthly.

I posted on the About Us page my need to lose weight.  I was thinking of a monthly update on my successes and failures (I'm hoping not many of the latter).  An encouragement to others and accountability for me.

I also love to make decorations for the girl's parties.

Did you notice I changed my banner at the top?  It used to say "all things crafty" but I don't think that would apply anymore.  I'm not getting rid of that banner, I will use it for the crafts I do.

And I am not getting rid of the cakes, they just may be a bit less often.

I don't know how often I will post on each topic yet.  It may depend on the popularity of the topics.  I also don't want to post anything just for the sake of posting, I want there to be something that I can really share.

I am also not tied to the banners I've created.  I usually play with my design quite a bit.
